I grew up in a small waikato town, Matamata where I completed all my schooling. I then went to Massey University and completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Sport and Exercise Science and Geography after which I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Education majoring in secondary Education. I got my first job as HOD of PE at Solway College in Masterton where I spent 3 years before moving over to England and teaching at Shipston High School for two years and travelling Europe in between. We came back to the Wairarapa and I started teaching at Kuranui College. I recently changed to Primary teaching with the move out Pirinoa and have been enjoying the challenge that is Room 3. In my spare time I like to get outdoors and play sport or help on the farm.
