I'm thrilled to be celebrating three years as Principal of Pirinoa School — my very first principalship. It's been a steep learning curve, but the journey has been made so much easier thanks to the amazing team and supportive community here.

I live locally in this beautiful corner of the world, but I also love getting out and about — especially when it involves time on the water with my partner in the Marlborough Sounds or the Hauraki Gulf.

Pirinoa School is a small school with a big heart and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We focus on the learning that truly matters. Right now, that means getting back to basics as we respond to the changes in the New Zealand curriculum. Soon, we’ll also be developing our new strategic plan for 2026–2028, and I’m excited about the fresh initiatives that will come from that process.
